Bacon Wrapped Jalapeño Poppers


Ingredients:

10 fresh jalapeño peppers

8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

2 cloves garlic, minced

10 slices of bacon, cut in half

1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Toothpicks (for securing)


Instructions:

1. Prepare the Jalapeños:

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

Slice the jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove the seeds and membranes. (Use gloves to avoid irritation.)

2. Make the Filling:

In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, and minced garlic until smooth.

3. Stuff the Jalapeños:

Spoon the cream cheese mixture into each jalapeño half, filling them generously.

4. Wrap with Bacon:

Wrap each stuffed jalapeño half with a half slice of bacon. Secure with a toothpick if necessary.

5. Bake:

Place the wrapped jalapeños on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a wire rack.

Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the cheese is bubbly.


6. Garnish and Serve:

Sprinkle with chopped parsley if desired. Serve warm and enjoy!
