Brussels Sprouts: 4 Delicious Preparation Methods

Classic Roasted Brussels Sprouts

Ingredients
- 1 pound fresh Brussels sprouts
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cloves garlic, minced (optional)

Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C)
2. Trim the ends of Brussels sprouts and cut in half
3. In a large bowl, toss sprouts with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic
4. Spread on a baking sheet cut-side down
5. Roast for 20-25 minutes until crispy and golden brown
6. Serve immediately

Honey Balsamic Brussels Sprouts

Additional Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans
- 2 tablespoons fresh thyme leaves

Additional Instructions
1. Follow roasting method above
2. While sprouts are roasting, mix honey and balsamic vinegar
3. In the last 5 minutes of cooking, drizzle honey-balsamic mixture over sprouts
4. Sprinkle with chopped pecans and thyme
5. Return to oven for final 5 minutes

Bacon Parmesan Brussels Sprouts

Additional Ingredients
- 4 slices bacon, chopped
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Additional Instructions
1. Cook chopped bacon in skillet until crisp
2. Remove bacon, leave 2 tablespoons of fat in pan
3. Sauté halved Brussels sprouts in bacon fat
4. Transfer to baking sheet, top with crispy bacon pieces
5. Roast at 425°F for 15-20 minutes
6. Sprinkle with Parmesan and parsley before serving

Asian-Inspired Sesame Brussels Sprouts

Additional Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 teaspoons grated fresh ginger
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced

Additional Instructions
1. Whisk soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, honey, and ginger
2. Toss Brussels sprouts in mixture
3. Roast at 425°F for 20-25 minutes
4. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions before serving
